No slide tackling. Any slide tackle will result in a foul and the other team will be awarded a free kick. Any slide tackle in the penalty box will result in a penalty kick. Any slide tackle deemed dangerous by the official will result in a yellow card. Any tackle with the intent to injurer will result in a red card.
Lack of knowledge of these CSA Rules will not relieve any Coach, Captain or Player of a team participating in CSA, from the responsibilities and possible penalties herein. ALL TEAMS OFFICIALS, AND PLAYERS, BY PARTICIPATING INPLAY AGREE THAT THEY ARE BOUND BY THESE RULES.
Players must be 18 years of age by the start of league play. Proof of Age may be requested by the league if there is any question about an individual being under the age of 18.
There are 3 Divisions for the Fall 2023 season.
Each team will have a designated Team “Captain” that is known to the league.
Games will be played on Sunday afternoons at Tuma Soccer Complex and Mount Mercy University.
Games will be played 9v9 with two 25-minutes halves with a 5-minute half.
Each team is guaranteed 10 games for both seasons.
The season will be limited to 8 teams per division. The first 8 teams, on a first come first serve bases. If your team fails to have 8 players signed up, it can be passed by another team that is able to get their required 8 players first and/or combined with a team that is also short on a full roster (15 players)
The fees for the season are for referees, field usage, administration cost, and association cost.
